BM Cabernet in 60FF

About a month and a half ago, I emailed Jaimie at Bra Obsessed to see if she knew about any upcoming releases. She sent me some pictures, and the only one I remember is this BM Cabernet (I do know the other ones were already teased/released by Ewa Michalak). It was so gorgeous! I wish I still had the stock photo Jaimie sent me but I deleted it ages ago.

I decided to try a 60 band this time, so I went from a 65F to a 60FF. I'm glad I did because this band runs a little stretchy. It's a really soft, beautiful deep purple-brownish lace. It has a knitwear band, which is my favorite kind. It has a big bow in the middle and ribbons folded over with a button on the straps. It seems to run small/wide and I'm not sure if it's this size in general or if it's this style in particular. I also ordered the thong in a 38. If I'm ordering coords from Ewa Michalak I go with thongs. I usually always like her thongs but her briefs can be hit or miss. It ended up being mostly knitwear with some lace in the middle. I was hoping it would be all lace. The knitwear along the backside has lettuce edging and it looks really comfortable.

I wish Ewa's unpadded models didn't look so full coverage on me. I'm getting some wrinkles near the bottom, but I otherwise fill the cups pretty well. The gore is nice and low and sits perfectly. This lace is gorgeous and I love the oversized roses.

The profile on this one is a little pointier than some other BM models I've tried but it's not too bad at all. It's uplifted and close to my chest. The wires are a little wide, but because the wings are so low it doesn't bother me at all. The stretch lace helps cover any slight bubbling I might have on my larger side. The band stretches to 29.5 which is a little looser than I prefer. I was really hoping it would be true to size and stretch to 28 or even 27.5 inches but 29.5 will be perfectly ok. There are 4 rows of hooks so if really starts to bother me I can tight it up a smidge.

The thong is a little boring. I wish it was more lace than knitwear. I haven't tried it on yet but I know the ruffle edge styles usually run comfortable. I wish that there were buttons somewhere on this to tie in with the bra, but otherwise it matches perfectly.

Overall, I love this bra. The color is an absolutely gorgeous deep cabernet color and the lace is so soft. I really like how the 60FF fit so I think I'm going to keep ordering 60 bands in the future. I have a 60G CHP that's unfortunately been lost in the mail. Hopefully I get it soon so I can see how it fits.

Ewa Michalak SM Tattoo in 65F

This bra isn't officially released yet, but I saw it posted on Ewa Michalak's facebook page and just had to have it. I emailed the shop and Kaska told me I could order it if I wanted. I feel so stupid though because I ordered the wrong size! I thought that I took all my unpadded bras in a 65F so that's the size I ordered. Looking through my other SMs here at home, I apparently order a 65FF. So keep in mind that this bra is a size too small. I'm keeping it anyway because who knows when/if I'll get another chance to order it!

The SM Tattoo is a gorgeous tan based bra with black lace over it. With warmer tanner skintones, it should look like the mesh just disappears. On my pasty self, that doesn't happen but it's still an absolutely beautiful bra. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the lace because there are loose threads at the end of all the embroidered bits. I'll just have to be super careful when I wash it. It has a big bow on the gore of the bra and the front/back of the briefs. It has removable cleavage straps and fully adjustable regular straps. I love how this bra looks and I wish I had gotten the right size.

I have had the song "Feeling Myself"playing in my head as soon as I put this bra on. Look at it! It almost looks like it fits perfectly. I have quad and the wires are a smidge too narrow for me and the gore doesn't tack as well as my SMs do but I'm so happy that this bra mostly fits. The band is tight. It measures only 28.5. While that is perfect for me, others who prefer a looser band might want to size up in this style. In the future I'm going to order 28 band because this one is awesome.

I get a little bit of a flat 3/4 profile because it's too small, but I have almost no visible quad at this angle. I love how low the gore is though and I wish the next size up was so low too.

Here you can see that I bubble over a smidge. I wouldn't wear this with super tight clothes but regular t-shirts and sweaters shouldn't be a problem.

And the extent of the quad. I don't think the wrinkles will be as bad in the next size up, but they'll still be there. The cups feel a little unstable because they're so low coverage, but I can deal with that.

And here is the bra with the removable spaghetti cleavage straps! I think they had a lot to the look. I will probably leave them attached to the bra so I don't have to worry about losing them.

This is the first bra I've received with quality problems that weren't limited to loose threads. There's one spot on the lace that has the black threads connected. It's an easy enough fix with a pair of snips, but still annoying. Also visible is all the loose threads. I'm not sure how that affects durability but I'll be extra careful! I love love love the little silver in the scallops along the edge. It's the only place the silver is visible. The rest of the lace has a beautiful pearly tan embroidery (along with the flowers). The straps attach to a loop in the gore-which is surprisingly hard to do-and little circles under the strap bows. The bow attachment isn't super sturdy but they aren't coming off the gore anytime soon.

I found the underwear to fit pretty true to size. I wish the top ruffle was lace, but as it's not a stretch lace I presume the all soft mesh was for comfort. It's got the ruffle edge instead of leg elastic. I've warmed up to the idea of the ruffle edge so I'm fine with that. For me, the gusset was a smidge too wide and it is lined in cotton. It has big bows on the front and the back. The spaghetti straps on the briefs adjust with the rhinestone adjusters. While this brief matches the bra better than the Ja Wiem set, I wish either the brief had the plan black adjusters or the bra had the rhinestone ones.

Overall, I am in love with this set. It's beautiful and so comfortable and most importantly I feel amazing in it. I'm going to hold on to this 65F for now but if it becomes available in Ewa's shop I will grab a 65FF in it for a slightly better fit. Normally I don't talk price but since this one isn't for sale yet I paid 199 zl for the bra and 79 zl for the brief, or about $80 usd.

Edit: The bra is now available in Ewa's shop for 239 zl.

Ewa Michalak BM Tajemniczy Ogród 65F

I mentioned in a previous review that I had tried all Ewa Michalak styles currently available in my size range except for the SF and the BM. Well, I can cross the BM off that list-all that's left is to try the SF. About two months ago I emailed Jaimie to see what BMs she had in stock/on order. She mentioned the Tajemniczy Ogród, and although I thought it looked like a grandma floral, I did place an order for one. I read a review that said it was comfortable and I liked that it had tulle on the top instead of lace. I thought that that would give a smoother line under clothes (spoiler-it does!). The day after I ordered it I sent Jaimie another email asking if there was any way I could add a thong to my order. I wasn't expecting to be able to since this batch of orders was already in production but Jaimie was able to convince Ewa to make one for me! The only blip in my ordering process was wait time: Jaimie tried something new to prioritize customer orders over stock so she sent in 3 orders, I think. According to the newsletter, Ewa just held on to these orders as they were produced and shipped them all at once at the end instead of as they were completed. So while I should have gotten this bra weeks ago, I didn't receive it until today. This is frustrating but I hope others don't avoid ordering from Jaimie because of Ewa's decision.

When ordering the BM, for whatever reason it is generally suggested to size down. I think this is because it's stretchy? In any case, I decided it was common advice for a reason and I did so. I'm glad I did because this fits perfectly! My biggest gripe (as usual) are the straps are too wideset. The band feels a little tight so I wear it with an extender. The extender also helps to eliminate some of the wrinkling I get in the bottom of the cups. I'm seriously in heaven with the gore/wing/wire width situation of the 65FF and in an ideal world I'd have the depth of a 65FF with the construction of a 65F. The pattern of the bra extends all the way to the back as does the little lacey frill at the bottom. The stretch tulle at the top is simply folded over. BM styles are made with a laminate fabric that I was afraid would be stiff or itchy/uncomfortable. That is not the case. This bra is so comfy I don't want to take it off and the thong is simply adorable. The entire set gives off ballerina/soft/sweet vibes. I also didn't realize how much of my room you could see so I apologize for any mess. I'm trying to figure out a better spot for photos.

Because of the tulle at the top, this bra isn't as supportive as some of my other options. I'm okay with that because I have only one speed most of the time and that's slow so I'm not often in need of mega support. You can kinda see the wrinkling here on lefty. I *love* how low this gore is-only 2 inches! And the uplift is great! I wish the strap bows were a little smaller because I figure they'll show under my tank tops as usual. It's hard to tell but in my size range the BM is a 3 part cup.

These cups fit perfectly. A 65FF would definitely be too big. Again, I love the low gore, narrow and short wires and short wings a 65F gives me.

What I love about Ewa's bras is the shape. It's pretty consistent: round but with a subtle peak. Not too much immediate projection but I can handle it.

The cups/straps are joined together in the same way that the SM bras are.

I wanted to buy the brief originally but I'm firmly pro-leg elastic since the ruffled hem used on this brief would ride up. Luckily for me Jaimie was able to rustle up this thong because it's so cute. I love all the bows and the use of the sheer tulle for the sides and back. I'm not sure if the double layers will hide well under tighter clothes but I think I can put up with that. These are a 38 I think because I heard they ran looser. I'm all over the place in Ewa's underwear: I've tried everything from 36-40. Some of the 38s were too tight, some of the 40s were too big and the 36 oddly fit. I usually order a 40 unless I hear it runs loose since I prefer my underwear to be a little too loose then too tight.

This is such a beautiful girly set and I'm glad I took a risk on it. It's super comfortable and I couldn't ask for a better fit. If you want to get your hands on one, Ewa Michalak is on vacation right now but Jaimie at Bra Obsessed might have some in stock and Zathiya doesn't appear to have any.

Bra Obsessed's Ewa Michalak SM Wanilla 65FF

I will be personally renaming this bra to "Betrayer" because it came off as all sweet and gorgeous and then brutally ripped my heart out. Uh...I mean, there's some fit issues present with this bra that I'll go over in due time. This is seriously still one of the most beautiful and flirty bras I've ever seen. I've wanted one since I saw a review for it but I put it off because I didn't want to spend the money. One day I did decide to take the plunge and order it because I noticed it was an older style and I didn't want to miss out by not ordering in time. I also got the matching thong because I'm worth it and it is amazing. I love all of my Ewa thongs but this one knocked it out of the park. I wasn't sure if I was going to post pictures on it as it has a peek-a-boo on the front so I decided to take pictures from the side/back angle of me wearing it and then have the floor model the front for me. It did a great job.  It's more bridal-vibey then I anticipated so if you have upcoming nuptials and love Ewa's SM's this could be the bra for you! This style is exclusive to Bra Obsessed and Jaimie does have some sizes in stock but of course you can always email her and order that way.

I ordered this bra in my usual 65FF and the thong in a size smaller then my previous 40, a 38. Honestly, I'm all over the place with Ewa's underwear. I've had an older 36 brief that fit great, 2 40 thongs that fit great, 2 38 thongs that fit great and a 40 brief that was too big. This thong is made of really stretchy mesh on the sides (very very sheer) so I would advise to size down. I love the lace, the pastel pink and the pearlescent white with the little tiny frills on the edges. The bow on the gore is the same pink with white polka dots and the two strap bows are bitty little white bows. The adjusters on the straps are white as are the hooks. The band is pretty much plain white with some fun trims on the wings. I find the cups fit the same way that my 2 other 65FF SM bra cups did but this band is what has betrayed me. It runs almost a full size tight and only stretches to 28.5 inches. That's no good-it's the exact same size as my underbust and I can't even fasten it without an extender. I need two rows on an extender to get it to fit. However, I am stubborn and determined to wear this bra. Now that I have this in my hands I don't want to wait any longer to receive a different size (I would be way more comfortable in a band that stretched to 29.5/30 but I am impatient). I'm noticing a theme here: I get really excited and take lots of photos of my new bras. So whenever I'm reviewing a new bra just expect a photo dump.

These wires are nice and narrow and follow my fold (on my wider left side) perfectly. There is no cutting in or gapping and I actually get some cleavage. The bra is deep enough, especially at the bottom, for all of my projection. I love the shape from the SM and I get a very similar shape from the S style. It's very uplifted and round but still has a nicely defined apex. The wires and wings are short and don't stab my armpits which is always appreciated. I like the smaller bows on the straps because I noticed the bows on the straps of my SM Cukiereczek show under my tank tops. So if that's something that bothers you, these are like ninja bows. They're small and white so they almost blend in with the strap. However, it looks like originally there were pastel pink bows which I would prefer but at some point they've been replaced with this white ones. The straps are soft and have embroidered edges to stop the adjusters from slipping. The gore is low and overlapping and as usual provides no problems. The taping on the seams is actually done on the inside of the cups meaning they will give a very smooth appearance under clothes.

Sadly the only extender I have is black. This extender works on most of my other Ewas but the hooks on this one are set a little wider apart so the extender doesn't work as easily. If I fix the length of the back, then the straps are pushed pretty far out on my shoulders. Again, I'm stubborn and don't want to wait another 2 months so I'm just gonna put up with this. I doubt this bra will quickly stretch to wear I don't need an extender but we'll see.

When I first saw photos of this set on An Enhanced Experience, the woman who did the review had the briefs. They looked way too sweet for my tastes so I decided to try out the thong. It's got a sexy little peek-a-boo feature on the front which is framed by the lace, then the flat pom-pom trim and then the pink ribbon that the gore bow is made from. It's almost all stretchy mesh except for the opaque part and trim so I'm glad I sized down.

I really like how Ewa designs her thongs. I love the wide band. I find it to be more comfortable and doesn't dig in as much so it makes me feel better about my body. The band on this is exceptionally wide. It's like the top half is a brief the bottom half is a thong. I dig it. It's not traditional and I think it balances out the hard-core flirty nature of the bra and keeps it sweet instead of sexy.

Peek of the thong part. See how wide that band is? There is a pink polka dot bow on the back too.

Glamour shots because this is the most beautiful bra I've ever put on my body. This would be my favourite bra if the band wasn't so tight but I shall wear it anyway. That just means it'll last longer, right? Luckily I have an extender handy. This bra is gorgeous and I'm glad I have it in my hands. If you're looking for bridal wear or just love really girly, flirty bras this one's for you. I do recommend you take on band size up and one cup size down on this one because of the band (sister size - 65FF    ->70F) but if you are sub 28 and don't want to pay for a custom order then this tight band would work to your favour! Remember that this is exclusive to Bra Obsessed so you'll have to order from Canada. This set is worth the money.

Ewa Michalak SM Cukiereczek 65FF

Like the lovely SM Summer Time (review is coming up-I started writing one but it disappeared because I am technologically impaired), I've wanted the SM Cukiereczek since I saw it. It's sheer, it's got giant bows and beautiful pink flower embroider. What's not to love? I am a member of the Facebook group "Clothes for Boobs Buy/Sell/Chat/Share Page" and I saw a member had posted a picture of an HM Cukiereczek back in December or so of 2015. It was new with tags and I knew it was a long shot but I asked if it was still available. It was(!) so I went ahead and contacted the seller to purchase it. To make a long story short, unfortunately the seller could not find this new with tags HM Cukiereczek but she had a practically brand new Cukiereczek in the SM style and would I like that instead? I agreed because any Cukiereczek is better then none. I am glad I was able to get the SM instead of the HM style (although I would like to try it) because after reading reviews on other HMs and this version I saw that the gores tended to be higher than usually works for me. I would have been wicked bummed if this bra didn't fit me but luckily it does! It's a perfect fit and in near perfect quality, besides some loose threads, some pen marks, and a couple pulled hooks that took a few minutes to fix.

I love the SM style so much you guys. The SM is the unlined version of the padded S style which is a balconette. This one is slightly different then the SM Summer Time I own in very important to me ways. Mainly the straps: on my SM Summer Time, the straps are awful and stretchy and thin. They bite me because of how thin they are, but because they're so stretchy I have to adjust them all the way short and even then they're almost too short. On the Cukiereczek, the straps are nice and wide. They have little frills on the edges so they don't slip. The adjusters are metal and a little lighter than the tan of the straps. The band is really slim where it hooks and I wish it was just a tad wider. The material for the band is really satiny and sooo lovely. It is similar in feel to that of my CHP Summer Time band. There is a double layer of fabric on the wings and gore. The wires are the perfect width for me. They feel too narrow when I put my breasts into the cups as I'm putting it on but when I fasten the band they stretch to fit my roots perfectly. The wires are short and overlap at the gore making it very narrow. It is also rather low. The construction of the cups is absolutely brilliant: it is seamed, but the seam work is done on the inside so it gives a very smooth impression under clothes. I hear that the Wanilla is done the same way and I hope to confirm it any day now! The colours in these photos are pretty true to life. I was able to catch the last of the daylight.

I swear the bra does not make me look lopsided. It's just the photo, but I can't find what happened to the others and the light is gone. I get very subtle cleavage in this. I don't mind this at all and it's perfect for tank tops or other lower cut tops hat get a lot of wear in the summer months. The bows end up really high on my shoulders with how high I have to shorten the straps. I wish they were smaller although they don't appear to show under clothes. I forgot to mention this on my CHP Summer Time review but Ewa's team does an incredible job with pattern matching. On both bras the embroidery is perfectly mirror image to the other side.

I love the shape the SMs give. Uplifted, almost round but with a lovely perky apex. It is maybe a smidge flattening to my upper tissue on my larger side but it's not too noticeable. Do not let those bulges alarm you. I was cursed with prominent tails of spences (tails of spence? tail of spenci?) especially on my larger side.

So nice I had to show it twice! You can see the slight flattening I mentioned in the bottom picture. The band is nice and wide but the wires and wings are low enough to stay out of my armpit. The straps are wideset as is my usual complaint but they don't really bother me.

The back is a boring tan. I wish there were some of the flowers or something but we can't have everything.

Here's a close-up of the clever strap placement (and embroidery). Instead of being attached directly to the top of the cup it's attached to a triangle piece instead. I am not 100% sure so don't quote me on this but I think that this is to help distribute the weight. It also provides a nice appearance in my opinion.

How it looks under a cheapo Walmart shirt. I want to say that that is an embroidered flower and not my nipple on the lighter side but I'm honestly not sure. I would assume flower since they are bright pink and the shirt is thin. The seams are relatively hidden but the embroidery is not.

Lovely shape again. Projected for sure. It's more of a front and center than out to the sides.

And a close up. Even though it's heavily embroidered I'm really happy with how much it hides. This shirt is pretty thin so I think I'd have even less of a problem in one of my regular shirts.

I really really love the SM style from Ewa Michalak. It's so sheer and perfect for summer. My next SM will be the Bra Obsessed exclusive Wanilla and I can't wait. This Cukiereczek is no longer available from Ewa Michalak's website but you might get lucky somewhere else. If you are looking to order directly, Ewa has plenty of SM styles available here.
